Globetrotter

Through the lush archipelago of Indonesia

Up miles of verdant flora

Around the Greek agorae

You left clues in a Parisian café

Across the asphalt climes of New York

Down the spicy streets of Calcutta

I figured out what you stole

In the jungle mists of Rwanda

Along the broken Roman cobblestones

You’re mine – Carmen Sandiego

I remember loving those books. I can’t say I remember the show very much.

    Great word choices:
    “lush”
    “verdant”
    “climes”
    “spicy”
These words add another dimension to your poetry, one of sense and vision.

However, “I figured out what you stole”, if this piece were to have any weak points, would be it. I have a feeling that if you are able to write those very descriptive lines, you can find a better way to write that line.

    Overall, a strong piece.
Favorite line: “In the jungle mists of Rwanda”, and all of the other ones that make me feel like I’m on vacation.

    Great job.
